Our STory
Meet K & S Farm
Hello and welcome to the K & S Farm:
K is for Kristy and S is for Steve. We live on Cape Cod and it all started in 2017, with a walk in the garden. My boyfriend at the time Steve could not get over the idea that I could go to the ground and get a potato in real time and make something to eat.
That started the interest in clearing the overgrown, dead tree, brush and weed infested land that we looked out on everyday from our window. We started with jelly and blueberry trees, having won a lot of local contests we tried to make that work however the artisan process and cost just didn’t make it profitable.
In 2018 we were going to get married and I thought why not do my own flowers. I didn’t even know about Dahlia’s coming from Pittsburgh as a child; they weren’t even on the market there. However my neighbor started growing them and they looked so pretty so I thought I would try it. Well 8 years later we have about 400 dahlia plants and counting. Which is so exciting and I love them all like my children.
Kitchen Sink Bouquet is our web site named after our first product: Also just happens to be our initials as well, didn't plan that one. ( synchronicity)
It's is as described a bouquet of gorgeous dahlia flowers with herbs like dill, basil and mint. Gourmet herbs meet style and color, on hand in the kitchen right where you need them.
